Rachel Durkan, President and Founder, Paradigm Marketing and Design
Rachel Durkan – as the founder and president of Paradigm Marketing and Design – has spent the last eight years helping her clients make millions of dollars and realize their goals. She has become a highly regarded figure in the marketing industry and is widely recognized for her exceptional business and marketing intelligence, as well as her passion for sharing that knowledge for the benefit of others.
Rachel has co-authored two books, Lessons Beyond the Obvious: The Entrepreneur’s Handbook and Breakthrough Results!, and has been recognized many times for her achievements in entrepreneurship and marketing. Most recently Rachel was recognized as an Enterprising Women of the Year Award Winner and presented with an Award by the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Her other accolades include a Boy Scouts of America Tribute to Women Award as well as recognition as a Top 25 Brand Builder, a NJ Ad Club Top 40 Under 40 Marketing and Communications Professional, and, for Paradigm as a whole, the 2017 Morris County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and over ten GDUSA awards for graphic design excellence.
In creating her own brand, which she has built upon the core values of excellence, support and success, Rachel has recruited a team of expert marketers at Paradigm who each share a deep-rooted vested interest in client satisfaction and a high level of pride in the work they deliver. Today, Paradigm is known for providing high-quality, metrics-driven marketing and web services that produce real, measurable results. Although Paradigm has grown over the years into a turnkey agency, the company remains small enough to provide clients with individual attention and hands-on, detail-oriented services. No matter the client, Paradigm remains focused on a single objective: creating impactful initiatives that help the client achieve long-term growth.
Outside the office, Rachel and her team at Paradigm practice the concept of people before profit. This belief has opened up new opportunities, relationships, and innovative ideas creating a better community in which we work and live. Throughout the year, Paradigm collaborates with organizations by providing donations, advocacy, and volunteerism.
Prior to founding Paradigm, Rachel worked as a marketing professional at Pfizer and then at Bergen County’s United Way. She earned her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds certifications in website development and graphic design.
Rachel lives in Mount Tabor, New Jersey, with her husband and two children.
